height information at 1 arc sec

density from 600N to 570S (80% of

earth’s landmass; 14400 10 cells)

• SRTM 11 day mission now planned

for Dec 99 or Jan 00

• Incremental data finishing from December 2001 to April 2003

• NIMA processing of terrain height data to DTED2 format according to CINC/Service priorities
