Definition
Intensity component of a Primitive Color,
used to simulate light emitted by the object.
Since the Emissive Color component is due to
light emitted by the object, it is independent of any light sources in the
environment, so it is
- independent of the angle of the lit object to the light source
- independent of the angle of the lit object to the observer

- Does SEDRIS use the OpenGL lighting model?
- No, although the terminology is similar. SEDRIS handles transparency
somewhat differently than OpenGL does, among other things. For a
