Definition
A Volume that encompasses all or part of a
Model, used for detecting collisions. For some
objects, Bounding Volume and
Collision Volume may be the same.

Example
- The cylinder that describes the gun tube of a weapon system.
- A perpendicular vector emanating from the bumper of a car is a
Collision Volume of
Volume "vector", and is used in
computing intersection of the front of the car with other objects.
