Example
- A Linear Feature represents a one-way
street. Its path is defined by a Feature Edge.
The Edge Direction information indicates
whether the orientation of the Feature Edge
matches the permitted direction of travel along the one-way street.
FAQs
- How should Edge Direction values be
interpreted?
- A value of TRUE indicates that the Feature
Edge or Geometry Edge is oriented in the
same direction as the Linear Feature,
Line, Feature Face
Ring, or Geometry Face Ring. A value
of FALSE either indicates the orientation of the
Feature Edge or
Geometry Edge is the opposite of the
Linear Feature, Line,
Feature Face Ring, or
Geometry Face Ring, or indicates that the
Linear Feature or Line has
no clearly defined orientation.
