Example
- For a transmittal containing features, keywords
might include NIMA VPF product names (e.g. DTOP, FFD), the
names of the thematic coverages that are included (e.g.
transportation, industry), and the names of particular
types of features that are included (e.g. roads, railroads,
airfields, etc.)
- For a Model of an aircraft, the specific type of
the aircraft (e.g. F-16C).
FAQs
- What is the purpose of this class?
- This class provides for FGDC-compatible keywords, which can be
used to search a repository (such as MEL) for SEDRIS transmittals
that address specified real-world objects, spatial locations,
or time periods. This allows a potential user to identify and
select those SEDRIS transmittals that meet their requirements,
without having to actually obtain and examine the transmittals
themselves.
