Class Name: Universal Feature Face
Definition
A Feature Face object that represents the
infinite area "outside" an explicitly defined topological
surface. A Universal Feature Face
has no explicitly defined outer boundary, but will have at least one
explicit inner boundary.

Example
- A topological surface represents the terrain surface over a one degree
square area. The Universal Feature
Face object within this topological
surface represents the infinite area outside of this one degree square.
FAQs
- When is a Universal Feature Face
object required?
- At feature topology level 3, a single
Universal Feature Face object is
required within each separate topological surface, in order to fulfill
the requirement for an exclusive and exhaustive partitioning of the
topological surface. Universal Feature
Faces are not used at any other
feature topology level, and are not normally associated with an
Areal Feature.
